When we say the products on this page are “pet-freindly,” we mean that the main components in the bouquet or pot are comprised of florals or plants that are non-toxic to cats and/or dogs, according to the ASPCA. It is important to note that this is not to be taken as medical advice. Always consult a veterinarian if your pet eats some or all of an arrangement. Much like roses, which are edible for humans but are often covered in pesticides that are toxic, most flowers and plants are not recommended for eating.

Which flowers and plants are pet-friendly?

There are a number of fresh flowers and plants that pass the pet-friendly check! However, what is friendly for one species of pet may not be so friendly to another. Consult the ASPCA’s website for a list of which plants and flowers are considered nontoxic for your species of pet.

Can cats and dogs eat flowers?
