Great Plants for Low Light areas

Blooming Plants love sun light! So how do you give your garden impact in low light areas? Focus on foliage rather than blossoms. Here are some examples of shade plants that require little maintenance:

Hostas
Ferns
Myrtles
Pachysandra
Spinach, kale and lettuce
Ivies
Astilbes
and of course, Azaleas

There are plenty of varieties to choose from with flower and foliage colors that vary from shades of green to pinks, whites, reds and yellows.
Here’s one to Google: Japanese Kerria. An interesting shrub that takes shade well and has cool yellow flowers.
