Conklyn's Florist is looking for temporary contract drivers to deliver flowers for the Valentine's Day Holiday. This is a one, two or three day opportunity for February 12th, 13th and 14th . The largest delivery day is Thursday February 14th you do not need to be able to work multiple days.
Payment is per delivery and can be as much as $8.50 per stop, express deliveries pay more, up to $11.00. Drivers completing 40 or more deliveries qualify for a bouquet of flowers as a bonus. If this is your first time to deliver flowers a first run of 12 to 15 with a second run of 10 to 15 is reasonable. You must be well groomed, polite, and able to keep the paperwork straight.
You need to be able to look up an address in a street guide or possess a GPS system that will route you, and you must be able to drive to that location. You must have your own vehicle and insurance (Valid drivers license and proof of insurance required). (Flowers cannot be transported in an open pickup truck). You must have a working cell phone and call the completion of each delivery into a touch-tone computer system. You need to complete a short training session.You are able to select packages and delivery areas you wish to take. We deliver to all Arlington, Alexandria and surrounding areas Including Washington Dc. Conklyn's Florist uses contract drivers at floral holidays (Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Secretary’s Day and Mother’s day). Successful contract work can lead to permanent employment.
